Our meetings are at 7-9PM each Monday and Wednessday during the spring and fall semesters.
New members will be provided with custom designed kits and will be guided through the rocketry construction and testing process. Once they have completed their rockets, the club will go to a nearby launch site where we will attempt to certify each participant.
Our club competes annually against other institutions in the Battle of the Rockets competition. Teams design and build a rocket that launches to a target altitude before deploying a rover for landing. Once the rover lands, it must perform a given task. This year, it must be able to jump 200 millimeters off of the ground and capture an image at appogee.
